About Toby
Hi I'm Toby. I am a super sweet and affectionate cat who is always waiting for kisses and hugs. I happily live in foster care with other cats/kittens, dogs and my big and little foster carers. I came into care very unwell and my foster carers have given me lots of TLC to make me fit and healthy again. So it is definitely time for me to find my own loving forever family and enjoy life on their couch, bed, lap, actually basically wherever you are, I'm there. I'm a cheeky and playful boy who enjoys playing with children of all ages and all other animals. I love attention from everyone, in any way possible, especially cuddles where I can snuggle right in and I love nothing more than snoozing on the couch or bed with my humans. I am an indoors only cat, but I love it best there because I feel safe and love being near my family. I will fit into any kind of home with some time and patience to adjust to a new environment and when settled I will give lots of love and kitty cuddles.
Medical notes
Toby has previously suffered chronic cystitis. He was treated with Hills Science Prescription CD Stress Dry & Wet Food and behavioural medication. These helped, but the biggest improvement for him came by having a companion cat. He no longer uses the food or medication, but situational changes may cause initial anxiety and he may revert for a period of time until he settles in. Therefore he requires extra time, patience, understanding and the constant company of another cat or human.
Adoption details
All of our animals are placed into foster care in a family type environment, which allows them to be exposed to various environmental factors such as cats, dogs, children, visitors, noises etc.
All of our animals have a health assessment. They are desexed, microchipped, receive their 1st F3 vaccination or C4 vaccination and have parasite treatment prior to going to their new homes. Once ready for adoption we look to find our fosters the most suitable home environment depending on their personalities and needs.
