About Lorraine from the drain (CaV17-202)
So I'm Lorraine and a few weeks ago I got myself in a bit of a predicament, you see I was stuck down a big storm drain. I was in there for a few days all on my own before I was lucky enough to have a concerned resident hear me screaming out for help. The rangers came and then some other people from the shire came and they had to pull up part of the road to get me out and the ranger crawled through the drain to find me. It was all pretty dramatic!! I was SO hungry, and tired and skinny and dirty but I was so relieved to be out! Then I got to come stay in an awesome foster home and that made me really happy. In my video you can me having a blow dry after I got bathed on the very day I was rescued! As you can see, it felt pretty good to be clean and warm.
Anyway I've been in foster care for a whole month now, growing big and strong. It took me a while to grow and I'm not quite as big as I should be yet but I'm ready to find a forever home now.
From the moment I came out of the drain, I've been a delight to have around (so my foster mum tells me!) I am the perfect kitten. I'm super confident and will run up and greet any visitors. I love to play but I also love to cuddle and snuggle and snooze on the bed with you. I'm in a foster home with 3 dogs and a bunch of other cats and I get on really well with all of them, I'm certainly no fading wall-flower! I'd also be great in a home with kids.
If you want a little kitty with BIG personality, then you want me. If you want to be entertained and amused by your cat, then it's me you're looking for. If it's just you and you want a best friend to bond to you, then I will do that. Or if you already have pets, kids and a busy house then I'll fit into that too.
All I want is to be loved and played with (and never get stuck in a drain again!!)
If you want to take me home, what are you waiting for??
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
