About Duke
Duke is a very special boy indeed! He’s been through quite a lot over the past few months but has come shining through. He suffered a broken hock and complications that led to him being taken to the vet for euthanasia. He struck it lucky as his guardian angel was on duty that day and she was having none of it!
Three operations and lots of TLC has seen this boy come through at his best. He never complains and just loves his humans especially when they include him in their fun activities like car rides, visits to the park and beach and hanging at the local coffee shop. He’s told his foster mum that his ideal home would have someone around to keep him company. He loves to watch what you are doing and thinks visitors are fun but he’s always on his best behaviour.
Duke has learnt not to wee in the house (his foster mum didn’t like that), walk nicely on the lead after he has had his first burst of energy and just loves to play with his toys. Duke even get mum’s scuffs for her if he thinks it’s time to go walkies. This boy would just love to meet you as you are sure to agree on just how special he is. While Duke is a gentle boy and likes most dogs, he will be better off in a home with no cats.
