About Daisy
Introducing Daisy, a Bull Arab x Retriever mix......This gorgeous little girl has arrived in care at just 6wks, along with her 8 litter mates. Daisy is currently being fostered in a home with other host dogs, and of course, her humans (which includes young children). She loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home and always up for a good rumble. Daisy is happy to follow you around all day and is proving to be quite photogenic! She's a super sweet little lady who enjoys her cuddles and adores her soft toys.
Daisy is learning the routine in her foster home and at this stage, no formal training has been introduced but basic commands will be introduced in the coming weeks. This sweet little girl has shown no food aggression or dominance while in foster care.
We are looking for a family or person who is willing to put in the time and effort with training and socialisation with Daisy. We would love to see her in a home where she had another doggie companion but if she was to be an only dog, she would need continued socialisation with other dogs during her puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised young lady. We believe that Daisy will be a medium to large dog when fully grown.
We would love to help get you started with that, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Daisy will be spending the next 3-4 weeks in care while all her vet work is done and will be available for adoption once this is complete. She will however, be available for meets in the coming weeks. Daisy is located on the Central Coast, NSW.
