About Rusty (on adoption trial)
Introducing RUSTY - around 4 months old and quite possibly once of the sweetest pups you will ever meet.
Rusty, along with another puppy Lulu in the same rural pound, was rescued on Christmas Day. They arrived at their foster carer, scared, underweight and in need of a really good bath. Despite all of this, both Rusty and Lulu have shown nothing but love and both enjoy showering everyone they meet with an abundance of cuddles and affection, including their Staffy foster brother.
With loads of puppy energy, playfulness and curiosity, Rusty and Lulu’s personalities have really started to shine. They love to play and wrestle with each other to the point of exhaustion, they love their walks and exploring, and are highly treat and praise motivated when it comes to learning new things.
Rusty is a cheeky goof ball with the cutest little dance and bum wiggle when he greets you. He is currently working on learning his doggy manners including crate and house training, sitting on command and walking on leash. He is eager to please and often looks to his foster mum, dad and brother for direction and boundaries.
Rusty is looking for a home where he will be part of the family living as an inside/outside dog. He is looking for dedicated dog owners who are able to provide the love, stability, mental and physical stimulation that high energy dogs require. Rusty would like his new family to continue his socialisation and provide a consistent training routine so that he can continue to learn and reach his full potential as a loving and loyal family pet.
As Rusty and Lulu have bonded we would love to see them rehomed together. We are happy however to rehome them separately.
Note that whilst Rusty and Lulu being puppies are still relatively small at the moment, given their long legs and paws they still have much growing to do and will likely grow into tall dogs.
If you like the sound of Rusty and can offer him the home he is looking for, he would love to hear from you. If you can offer a home to both Rusty and Lulu, they would both love to hear from you.
Rusty and Lulu are in care in the Winston Hills area of Sydney. They can be transported for genuine enquiries. All our dogs have a two week trial period in their new home.
