About Batman
Batman is looking for love!
Batman was found alone and without his family in a cold dark street, taken away from his mum far too early and was really frightened when he was found. As a result, when feeling vulnerable he likes to find bat-caves (hiding spots) to retreat to - and this is why he will need to be an indoor cat.
His name comes from the fact that he has a mask on his face, but also likes to defend and protect his family from any evil that may be lurking - this includes, but is not limited to - stray socks, painted toes and any mosquitoes that may have snuck in the house.
He has taken a little while to come out of his shell (and will likely need someone who expects him to take a few weeks to adjust in his new home), but when his little personality shines through, you will see that he is part-sook, part playful.
Batman lives with another cat at present, and he would really love another catwoman (or man) friend. He just loves to play with his feline friends! Otherwise he would love his human to be home to play with him or give him lots of toys to keep him entertained if you work during the day.
The way to Batman's heart is through food. He especially loves roast chicken, salmon, beef and shredded cheese as a treat (this will help him come out of his shell in minutes!). He also loves Whiskas cat milk and will lap this up in seconds.
Batman is about 8-9 weeks old, and would love to find a home of his own as soon as possible. Your few weeks of patience will be rewarded ten-fold when he entertains you for hours with his antics before snuggling up to you for cuddles.
Medical notes
Batman is vaccinated and microchipped, and his desexing is included in the adoption fee.

All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Part of our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. Part of that means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting illness or viruses etc. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families, safe from harm :)
All cats are adopted vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea and worm free and with a kitten gift pack and a bag of Hills science diet kitten food.
