Archie

I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Archie is a sweet quiet little dog who, through no fault of his own, ended up in the pound but fortunately he was spotted by a paws rescuer and was saved. It seems like archie has had a really hard life before his new start but, since being in foster care, he has learnt to trust humans again and has learnt that a human hand is not used to cause him harm, but for friendly loving pats and scratches. Archie arrived into foster care a skinny, frightened little dog and has managed to regain weight with regular small meals and lots of tlc over the past few weeks in care. Archie is doing very well with house training and will only be rehomed as a house dog as he has taken to using the doggy door like a pro. He has an easy care coat, that will need brushing weekly and he will also need clipping a couple of times a year to keep him comfortable and looking wonderful. Despite his age, archie seem to have an 'old soul' and his perfect home would be with a retired couple or single person who aren’t away from home a lot. He is not a fan of cats and is quite happy spending time alone so doesn’t really need another dog for company. Archie prefers to sleep in his own bed beside his foster carer’s bed but will often jump up for a reassuring pat or cuddle before settling back down in his own bed for the night. Archie will continue to thrive and blossom after finding his perfect home with people who will love him. Archie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. He has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic).
