Lexi is a very smart older girl. She has had it rough the past several months of her life, but she has been enjoying her time in foster care. She is a bit overweight as her previous owner was not well and would forget that she had fed Lexi, so Lexi ate too much. She also has slight arthritis in her hips. She has been getting some exercise and eating good......she loves to go on walks. A walk is her favourite part of the day. Her very favourite thing to do is to to chase a ball for her humans. She will drop her ball in front of anyone that will throw it for her. She does very well children and is happy to have them throw the ball for her too. She is very easy to have around. She listens well, knows so many words and commands. She absolutely loves just hanging out with her person. She is good for a snuggle on the couch with her person while they watch a movie. Lexi is currently in foster with 4 cats. She is not a big fan of the cats, but does to mostly ignores them and can coexist. Lexi is very selective with her doggie friends. She seems to prefer females who are smaller than her, but similar in age and demeanour. An older placid female dog may be a good match. If Lexi could be the only pet in the house, that would be the best option for her. Lexi is so easy to have around, so very smart and such a loving dog, she is ready to get her new forever family to help her enjoy the rest of her life.
