About Alto
'A' is for Adorable! 'L' is for Lovable! 'T' is for Tortie! And 'O' is for OH so very beautiful! I'm Alto, and I'm a precious, playful kitten taking applications now for my new furever home!
MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a gentle, happy girl who enjoys LOTS of hands-on attention. I like to 'bags' your vacant lap as soon as you sit down, and sleep sweetly in bed beside you at night. I might take a day or two to warm up to my new environment, but you'll be kind and patient until I find my feet. You'll have lots of toys for me to play with, a scratching post, and ideally another cat-in-residence to keep me company!
I'm learning to walk on my retractable lead, so that's another fun thing we can do together!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Moderate really, for a kitten. Although I *do* love a good romp around the house, my specialty is definitely napping. I'm also really good at Neighbourhood Watch - I'd love it if you had a nice window sill or screen door where I can sit and keep an eye on things for you!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm pretty easygoing, so I'll probably have a lovely time with gentle, friendly children once I feel comfortable in my new surroundings.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I currently live with my foster humans, two younger kittens and a bunny. I haven't met any dogs before, but with a careful introduction I'm likely to suit most types of households.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
