About Barnaby
Barnaby is a very smart & obedient young dog who is very eager to please.
Barnaby is very affectionate and wants to be included in what the family is doing. He is initially shy of men but give him a few days and he will be asking for cuddles. He is basic obedience trained and knows sit, stay, lay down, come and also shakes hands. Barnaby will need at least one long walk each day.
Barnaby is good with other dogs and is very submissive, is good with cats and also great with children of all ages. He is a quiet dog and rarely barks, he would love to become a family member in a quiet home.
Barnaby is happy in his own company as long as he has some toys to play with and a bone to chew on while you are at work. When you come home he greets you like he hasn't seen you for a very long time, his carers are working on his excitement levels when they get home and he is already learning that he won't be patted until he is sitting nicely.
Barnaby is a wonderful dog and everyone who meets him falls in love.
Medical notes

~ Desexed

Adoption details
Adoption Process for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
