About AJ
A j was not rescued from a pound but a pet shop. A paws foster carer goes to this particular shop to buy her doggy supplies and noticed that a j was still there week after week just looking out of his cage. This upset her greatly as no dog deserves to have this happen to him, a j had never been out of the shop in the 4 months that he was there so we decided that we had to free a j from this cage and find him a home. We negotiated with the owner of the shop (coming off pretty badly dollar wise but he was worth the effort) a j was very scared of the outside world and froze when he got to the doorway hearing the sound of passing people and traffic. His rescuer picked him up and carried him to her car and then his new life began. a j was very matted and dirty and needed a good clip. Our resident groomer maureen tidied him up and off he went to have all of his vet work done. He was then driven to his foster carers home to play with all of his new friends. A j is a real hit in the house hold, his foster mum thinks that he is funny playing with his toys and eating everything in sight. a j learnt the doggy door in a week and goes in and out all day. he would love a home with a family that will give him everything he deserves. A j has a coat that requires regular trips to the groomer and must go with another dog for companionship. . . He does not ever want to be alone again. a j has forgotten all about his life in the horrible pet shop and is now on his way to a wonderful new life. . . . . . Do you have all that a j requires?
Ps: the paws foster carer will not buy anything from this pet shop again however she will keep an eye on any puppies there to make sure that there are no more a j's!
