About Carson
Carson loves to play with the ball, and loves to play with other dogs of all types. He is gentle and submissive. Can be cheeky and fun loving at times. Quiet and calm inside and very good with his housetraining. His foster carer leaves him inside with the other dogs all day, with access to the backyard and he’s not destructive at all
Good with the livestock in that he doesn’t harass them, but he sometimes likes to chase them briefly in fun. Same with the chickens. Appears to get excitable when out on the lead if he meets other dogs and would need training with this. He can jump the farm fencing in the area where there is a solid wooden top rail. He only jumps from back to front yard but never tries to leave the property, however, he would need good fencing.
Carson is loyal and likes to sit nearby. Happy to sleep anywhere (inside). He doesn’t like to sleep on the bed. His foster carer has cats but they are separate from the dogs - he seems quite interested in them but might be ok if introduced over time. Carson is playful with other animals but I don’t think he would harm them intentionally.
Carson is so very sweet natured. Seems young and like a puppy.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
