Foster carer needed
Gentle, timid young girl
Medium Female American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Dog
- Rescue group:
- Rescue Hub
- PetRescue ID:
- New South Wales
Princess is only 9 months old, she has lived her life dumped in a back yard, she has never had a lead or ever been taken for a walk, so basic training is still needed. She is improving with her lead training, but is still very timid until you get her out of the kennel, Once outside she is happy to walk on the lead, and even walk off lead with a person that she trusts
She is a timid young girl who is craving for someone to love her, she seems to have no issues with other dogs, and has been fine with the children she has met.
Because she has been so neglected, she is timid around strangers, so takes a while to warm up to you.
We are initially looking for a foster carer who can give Princess a secure and loving home. She is currently in boarding kennels Cessnock but this is very short term so she will be back in Sydney in the near future.
If fostered/ adopted within the Hawkesbury/Penrith NSW area, we will offer a training session with Bear the dog behaviourist.
Princess was saved from death row with only days to spare, we want so much to find the perfect home for this beautiful girl.
Our dogs are $350 to adopt which includes de sex, vaccination, micro chip and lifetime registration. By adopting via rescue you enable us to save more dogs from the pound system.
We require a completed application form (click here) and will conduct a telephone interview.
If you already have a dog, a meet and greet will be required.
