Buddy

Buddy is a stunning eighteen month old black and tan Kelpie, Buddy came into care after being found wandering out in a remote farming area. Fortunately Buddy was microchipped to his breeder so we know a little about his past. Buddy was sold as a pup, has spent his entire life in a town yard, no training, poor boy didn't even know his name. Ever attempt was made by the ranger to contact his owner over a three week period, from phone, letter, email, home visit and even facebook message but Buddy's owner would not respond, which leads us to believe that given where he was found the he had been dumped. However when I messaged his owner trying to confirm his name was Buddy as he had no connection with the name her responded to me immediately. Thankfully Buddy is a quick learner, he is now walking on the lead, has learnt to respond to his name, learning basic commands. Buddy loves his ball and water. This boy needs a home that is committed to his ongoing training, he is very loving and will make someone the most loyal companion. Buddy is fine with other dogs both large and small and is very cat tolerant, believe he has been raised around small children.
