About Bear
Bear is not up for adoption, but rather a permanent foster home where he can live out his retirement with a loving family.
All of Bear’s medical expenses will be covered by us here at the facility – what we ask of you is to make him part of your family and love him and of course fill that belly of his!
Bear has cataracts which has made him totally blind and he has arthritis. As mentioned any and all expenses associated with treating his medical issues will be covered by the facility.
Although he is blind, Bear loves to go out for a walk and he has amazing lead manners. If on a long lead, he will need redirecting if he is going to run into something.
Bear gets along well with other dogs and he enjoys playing with them. It would be best if he was to go to a home with another dog, that the other dog be not too boisterous as continual jumping on him could cause issues with his arthritis. In saying that, Bear does enjoy a wrestle! We will of course need to have a meet and greet with any existing dogs to ensure that they get along.
Bear also seems unfazed by the presence of pocket pets and cats and could easily live with them.
Bear is a super sweet guy, who would be amazing company for a lucky person or family. He would love to find his retirement home where he can be included as part of the family and involved in the day to day activities.
Bear does not have an adoption fee as he is looking for his permanent foster home. He has been desexed and his vaccinations and flea and worming are all up to date. Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
