About Harry & Esme
Harry & Esme are a bonded pair of beautiful 6 year old Labradoodle siblings.
A little about Harry: Harry is a playful, affectionate 6-year-old boy who is great with other dogs and with children of all ages. He has always lived with his sister Esme and would feel happiest being adopted with her.
Harry thinks he's a lap dog - if you sit down he will come over for a cuddle and fall asleep with his head in your lap. His foster carer thinks he's like a big woolly teddy bear. His fur feels like sheep skin and he loves nothing more than a pat - when you stop patting him he will nudge your hand to remind you to keep going. He LOVES playing fetch and would play it all day if you let him!
Harry is very gentle and barks only rarely, when a new person is nearby; however, he quickly gets used to new people. He is toilet trained and doesn't make a sound during the night.
Harry would love to be adopted by someone who will treat him as part of the family and include him in daily household life. He won't mind what kinds of activities he does - he is just as happy being active as he is lounging around at home - but he is happiest when he gets to spend time with his humans.
A little about Esme: Esme is a playful and sweet 6-year-old girl who is great with other dogs and with children of all ages. She has always lived with her brother Harry and would feel happiest being adopted with him. Esme looks up to Harry and relies on him for a lot of her behavioural cues.
Esme is a real charmer. She has silky-soft fur and loves nothing more than a pat - when you stop patting her she will nudge your hand to remind you to keep going. She definitely makes the most of her "puppy-dog eyes" to get your attention.

Adoption details
Adoption Process for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
