About Coops
Handsome, giant goofball Coops is looking for a place to call home.
He is only about 10 months old and already weights 35kg and still has time to grow.
Coops has lovely manners around cats and dogs and is a very good listener. He can be a little big and bouncy for small children and will knock them over accidentally when playing so a home without small children - or a family who understand his size who can manage him around little ones would suit him best.
Coops is a very playful boy and will spend all day with his bouncy ball in his mouth waiting for someone to throw it for him, but if alone he will happily play on his own. As he is young, he can be a bit of a digger but he is learning this is not a good game to play, and makes his foster mum a little cranky. This training will need to continue in his new home, although his intention isn't to just dig for no reason, its a game he likes to play with his ball, he hides it in a hole and digs it up to find it.
Being ball crazy can have its benefits making him easy to teach tricks too, and also makes for hours of entertainment and laughs for everyone around as he is still rather puppy clumsy and ever so goofy.
Coops is toilet trained, crate trained, and loves a cuddle and a pat, taking every opportunity to hop up on your knee (just like a 5kg lapdog) for a cuddle even though he is massive.
Coops is a large boy who will need a confident experienced owner or someone willing to invest in training to help him live a fulfilled happy life - as his size alone will cause him issues, if he's left to his own accord. He will need someone dedicated to helping him make good choices, be well mannered, and understanding of his size and respectful of those around him and their personal space.
He is very trainable, extremely handsome, dog and cat friendly and will make a awesome dog for the right dedicated owner.
