Ruby

Ruby is all about the love. With her adorable squishy face and silly wiggle bum it’s hard not to love her right back at first sight.

Ruby is a superbly bred Aussie Bulldog who does not suffer from many of the health ailments often associated with her brachycephalic cousins. She has a beautiful, velvety red coat with a stunning black mask.

Ruby has not been exposed to cats and is a bit bouncy for young kids. She currently resides with two small dogs and has learnt to interact with them well. She would probably do better with an easy going, medium/large, playful male dog whom she could play with in her rambunctious way. Equally, she would do well as a single dog, provided she were allotted enough daily, human company.

While daily exercise and mental stimulation are important for ALL dogs, her new owners will need to have an understanding of the limitations associated with bulldogs, particularly in hot weather. Once she has her daily walk, she tends to relax inside and become a bit of a couch potato.

Ruby loves to snuggle. She delights in laying against you and snoring in your ear. If you love the endearing snuffle-snorts of a bulldog, Ruby will provide in spades. She also loves adventure and delights in paddling in creeks and streams with you.

If you are interested in making Ruby your forever fur-kid, you will need to train her in polite greeting behaviour with people as she does get excited to see them, but settles quickly. She needs a strong owner who can provide her with some direction in this area.

Ruby is toilet trained, can sit on command (though some consistency still needed) and is pretty low maintenance in the house.
