About Ferris
Ferris had a rough start to life and was very sick when he was a kitten. Yes, he's been through a lot but it is a testament to his beautiful personality that he has remained the most social, smoochy and loving boy. You only have to look at him and he starts purring and he flops down for a belly rub and patts with some gentle head butting.
Ferris likes to be indoors and to also go for a stroll in the garden but is soon at the back door wanting to come in. He is content to keep himself happy and will stretch out in his favourite spots or have a play. He is rather tough to get a good photo of because the minute you look at him he starts moving in for a pat so the shots don't quite do justice to what a handsome snow leopard he is with his dark spots and stripes and lovely green eyes.
Ferris has had all his vet work done and is up to date with his flea and worm treatments. We think he would suit families, singles or couples. He would be content to be the only cat in the family. Because of his easy going and sunny nature, Fez would fit right in no worries.

Medical notes
When rescued as a kitten, Ferris was found in a poorly state and was diagnosed with Feline panleukopenia virus. He received veterinary treatment that included anti-viral medication. He was also tested for FIV and feline leukemia x 2 tests and these were all negative. In addition, he is also fully vaccinated (F3 includes FPV) for further protection. The outcome is that he is not infectious (this is only in the early stages) and will not infect other cats, and does not require any ongoing medication. He does however require occasional mouth wash application or powder sprinkled on food (there are many products to maintain oral health in cats on the market) and to eat preferably dental biscuits as part of a wholesome diet as Fez's gums have a tendency to inflammation. We are happy to follow-up on Ferris at any time in the future should the possibility arise of any health issues but it is expected Fez will live a long and healthy trouble free life if looked after appropriately.
Adoption details
All our cats and kittens have been rescued from various situations, and are living in foster care around Sydney. The animals are vet checked, healthy, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated. Kittens are adopted from 8 weeks of age. Any kittens adopted at this age, a desexing voucher and follow-up occurs to have the kitten desexed when older. We charge a nominal fee to cover our costs and to help other cats and kittens in need. People are welcome to meet the cats and kittens if interested. A month long trial period applies on all adoptions and phone and/or visiting support is available during this time.
