About Bailey ~ greyhound mix
Hi there my name is Bailey, yes you are right it’s Bailey like the drink. I'm an 11 month old female greyhound cross looking for a loving home.
My brothers and sisters disappeared during my first weeks of life. Humans would arrive and one of my family members would disappear. I was the last and lonely one remaining.
I had a family collect me one day, but their big dog didn’t like me, so to protect me they would put me in the shed during the day and let me have a little play in the afternoon.
They were working very hard so couldn’t keep an eye on the big bully during the day, this scared me a lot and caused me to be very sceptical about new people and new situations.
I can get a little excited sometimes and act like a complete goose. I am still a puppy at heart and I do like to chew things like shoes and bark at night because there is something around the house than sounds different or new, other times I am just singing.
Unfortunately, I need to find a new home because my mummy and daddy had to move and the new yard is a bit small for a princess like me. As you can see in the photos, I am a bit of a poser. My mummy and daddy say they do love me very much but would much rather have me go to a new home where I can be treated like the royalty that I am.
Thank you for reading my story and looking at my pretty pictures.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
