About Sophie
He speaketh not; yet there lies a conversation in his eyes.
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
So true this quote is for dear Sophie.
A beautiful soul with many stories to tell, looking into her eyes will melt your heart. Although she has been mistreated and let down, Sophie still adores her human friends and longs to be loved back.
You'll get a perfect combo with this girl, she is more than happy to chill out with you, basking in a ray of sunlight, by your feet or next to you but if you're up for a game of catch, water play, a good walk or or a swim, Soph will be there ready for some fun. She especially loves water!
Sophie gets along well with other dogs and would love a calm, chilled out canine company in her new home, ideally a male however a relaxed female could work well.
She is not at all fussed by the cats in her foster home and would be content to share her life with a dog savvy carefree cat.
Human friends are the Apple of Soph's eyes. She lives to love and be loved by her people. Being around you and pleasing you will be on top of her to do list every day.
Sophie would be happiest if she was really included in the family life at her new hone and had someone home regularly.
Sophie has had a less than ideal past and whilst she is a strong resilient lady and generally happy, she can at times become a tad nervous and unsure with too much busy going on. Therefore young children are rather overwhelming and she can become quite frirghted, running and hiding.
A quieter home with teens or just adults would be best for Sophie, she deserves to be relaxed in her new home.
With a confident leader in her new home, clear boundaries and loads of the right attention, Sophies confidence will continue to grow and she will shine brighter.
You will forever have a loving, loyal friend in Soph.
Medical notes
Sophie is happy and healthy.
