About Tilly and Wicket
Tilly (tan & white) and Wicket are both well-socialised, mostly-relaxed and lovely little dogs. They have a very strong bond and are looking to be adopted out together.
They love when visitors come over, but tend to get a bit excited and jump up. They have been exposed adequately to children from 2-16yrs, however due to their excitement, may be too boisterous for a home with young children.
When Tilly is introduced to strangers, a good belly rub wins her over. Wickett will generally get a toy and try to convince them to play with him.
They are ok on walks and with other dogs, so long as there is a slow introduction. They tend to become protective of themselves and each other when approached by larger dogs, but more exposure and positive encounters will help them respond to such situations better.
Both Tilly and Wickett like to chase the ball and have a good play. Tilly adores a cuddle and often demands to be petted when she feels left out. Wickett is a more laid-back pup when compared to Tilly, he is definitely a more submissive pup.
They love indoor life and enjoy sleeping inside -we would like for this to continue in their new home.
Being a terrier, Tilly loved to dig in her previous home. A good balance of mental and physical stimulation, redirection and perhaps a dedicated ‘digging area’ will help to keep your lawn hole free. They will also require a yard with dog proof fences, to ensure Tilly is unable to dig underneath them.
If you would like some more information on these two lovable pups, please contact us!
Tilly and Wickett are located in Melbourne.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
