About Rolo DL1593
Hi there. I’m Rolo and I can’t wait to find my new home. I love to play outside, play with my toys (I have my favourites) and go for walks.
I’m pretty curious when we go for walks, because everything is so exciting and new, so I can pull on the lead a bit, but it’s something we can work on together.
When I’m inside though I’m a really good boy and love to just be with you. I'd prefer someone who is home more often than not. I love meeting new people. I can get a bit excited when I meet a new person – it’s someone new to play with after all – but I’m learning that when I calm down, I get more pats and play. I love playing with toys and I'm getting really good at catching a ball while it's bouncing and can't wait to show you. I’m best suited to a grown up household without kids.
I’ve learned a bunch of other stuff as well. I know sit, stay, come, lay down and outside. I’m also happy to give you my paw when you ask for it, and sit there and wait until you tell me it’s time to eat.
I love to practice my tricks so I can get them perfect and learn all sorts of new things. I also know that when you say ‘bed’ it’s time for me to go to my bed. At night if you allow me I prefer to be on your bed with you and will stay all night until we all get up in the morning; but if you prefer I will also stay in my own bed.
I can be a bit too excited around other dogs, so I’ll be better as an only dog while you help me learn to keep calm. I'd actually be happiest as your only pet at home, that way I can just get all your love to myself (not trying to be greedy or anything). I do love the beach and the waves and I am learning to socialise better with other dogs and make friends so I can go to the beach more often – its so much fun.
I’m pretty sure I can be your perfect match, so make sure to contact my friends at DFL so we can start our fun, new life together.
Medical notes
Rolo’s mum was a Cattle Dog Mix & dad was unknown, however he has grown into a large size adult dog.
