About Roxy and Chloe ~ English Spaniel (on trial 3/1/18)
Please let me introduce you to these two beautiful girls. Please meet Chloe and Roxy, a bonded pair of English Spaniels. These girls are just under four years old and are very people friendly. They like nothing more then a bit of a snuggle and would love someone to adopt them to give them some love and attention.
Roxy and Chloe are sisters and have been together since puppies so do need to stay together. They enjoy each other's company and like to spend time with their family.
Chloe and Roxy love a walk and walk side by side happily. We would recommend walking harnesses for each of them although they do not pull on lead. They have had basic training and will sit, stay and come when called.
Chloe and Roxy have not been socialised with other dogs so would need to go to home without other dogs. They are reactive around other dogs so would need some training in this area. They have not been exposed to cats or pocket pets.
Chloe and Roxy have previously been outside dogs so may not be fully toilet trained although while in care have been sleeping inside and haven’t had an accident as long as they are taken out before bed and let out first thing in the morning. We would like Chloe and Roxy to be allowed inside and be included in family time.
Chloe and Roxy would suit a family with children 10 years or older or a semi or retired couple, someone who is home some of the time would be ideal.
If you would like to meet Roxy and Chloe, please contact Anita who is looking after them on 0424 176 260 or email anita.waters@me.com. They are located in Swansea, NSW and are available for adoption interstate.
Roxy and Chloe’s adoption fee is $1,000 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
