dwarf rabbits. Desexed and vaccinated. $100 a pair. Born approximately 10 april 2008 skip (white) and twinkle (silver) are brother and sister who are both gentle and adventurous. They love to sit and snuggle together, and often groom each other. They also love to get out and run around the garden, kicking up their heels and exploring although will run back to their garage (‘hutch’!) for safety if something should scare them, like a plane overhead. They are wary of being held ‘captive’ - rabbits are prey creatures afterall! - however when approached softly on the ground or a sofa where they are free to move around. If they feel like it they enjoy being stroked. They are litter box trained (sawdust or breeders choice cat litter) so could make the transition to house bunny in a bunny proofed home, although they would still want to get out in the garden to run and skip around, with supervision of course! they love oaten hay, carrots, sweet red apples (no poisonous pips!), chicory, herbs like mint, chinese veggies, and dark leaf lettuce (iceberg lettuce can kill with upset tummies and has no nutritional value and cabbage will give bunnies painful bloat so both should be avoided) and of course a small portion of bunny mix daily! they’ll drink their water from either a bottle or a bowl and love to have a frozen plastic bottle to lie against to keep cooler on hot days, like a bunny air-conditioning unit! if you think they may be the bunny pair for you they’d love to meet you!

there will be a four week settling in period during which time if you decide the bunnies aren’t the right pets for you, you can return them and have your money refunded. Rabbits can live for up to 15 years (average lifespan 8-10 years) so it should be noted that a bunny is a commitment similar to a dog or a cat and definitely not just for easter / christmas!
