Monty is such a sweet and loving boy. I challenge you to not melt when he makes puppy dog eyes at you.
Monty takes a little while to warm up to strangers, he's a bit of a fraidy cat. Once he accepts you as his people he loves you unconditionally, he likes to be close to his people, he is always excited to see you, but once he settles he is happy to just be nearby.
Monty loves every dog he's ever met. He loves to chase, to wrestle, to sniff. As I write he is curled up, sharing a bed with his foster sister. Monty would love to have a fur sibling to play with in his forever home.
Monty has so much energy at this age, and being a ridgeback he probably always will. He is always ready to go for a walk, to chase another dog around, to play with his people. He shows his puppy age when he chews all of his toys, sticks, and balls. Occasionally he chews something we don't want him to, or he digs up a pot plant but he'll grow out of that with training.
Monty is very trainable. He is bright, respectful of his people, and will do anything for treats, or for your love. Once you become his people, he will be the best friend you can want, for years to come.
