Indyka

Indyka is a loving 1.5 yr old female Staffy x Shar Pei that loves to be as close to her human as she can, but she is fine with being left alone or with a doggy companion while her humans are at work.

Indyka currently lives with a male ridgeback named Monty (also up for adoption) so she can happily live with another dog once she’s been through an adjustment period. She takes a little while to warm up to new dogs but likes new humans on sight, anyone who may pat her.

She would love some room to play fetch and to run around if she has a fur sibling to live with, otherwise she loves belly rubs and to curl up with her humans.

She loves her treats! But takes them gently, no snatching at all. She waits patiently when her food is down to be told she can eat.

Indyka is learning not to jump on or lick her people, but sometimes forgets when she’s just so excited to see you. Indyka is toilet trained and crate trained (she sleeps in a crate at night) she also knows to sit and is learning to stay. Indyka will benefit from further obedience training.
