About Bella
Bella's favourite form of affection is long, firm pats down her head and back - as soon as you begin, she does a 'downward facing cat' and totally blisses out!
This precious young lady adores a good brush of her eye-catching tortoiseshell coat, and loves head bumps and quiet company at any time of the day. When comfortable in her environment, she's relaxed and independent - though you can be assured of an enthusiastic welcome upon your return home of an evening! (Sofa snuggles, too, if you're up for it.)

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be in a quiet house or apartment where there isn't too much going on. I'd love it if you had a balcony or window where I could sit and keep an eye on the neighbours and the pretty birds. I really enjoy human company - I can't wait to develop a special bond with my new person or couple.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I’m fairly active, mostly by way of following you around the house to check if you've got anything interesting on the boil. Occasional playtime is good fun, too - so it would be nice to have a scratching post and maybe a few toys lying around for when the mood strikes!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any really young children since coming into foster care but as long as they don't pull my tail I think I can love them!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I’m living with my foster parents' cats and dog now - we're not the best of mates, but we live in harmony most of the time. I think I can adapt well to living with other cats, so long as they are not too bossy.
I have been living with a big dog for the past few weeks. He does make me a little nervous but I know that I can adjust to him as he is very friendly and doesn't get too excited when I am around him.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
