About Miss Pixie **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Miss Pixie came into care when she was just a little over two weeks old. She was found all alone on a farm scared as anything, it was amazing she survived as it was very cold.
When she came to 2nd Chance Cat Rescue she was extremely dirty and hungry and cold, so we warmed her up and gave her a bottle, then bathed her (she didn’t like that much but it removed all her fleas as she was covered). She has a thriving and great attitude about her that kept her going.
It was funny seeing this tiny, little ball of fluff hiss, but we also felt sorry for her. Because we couldn't help wondering what had become of her family.
In care she was raised with a heartbeat puppy, so that she thought she had her mummy next to her, she loves this surrogate to bits.
Miss Pixie developed day by day and came out of her shell, she began to enjoy life, and at the age of four weeks she was introduced to her now very good friend, and orphan like herself, Miss Cupcake. They enjoy each other’s company and now have each other.
She gets along very well with a small Chi dog and loves to get her attention from all the people around her and especially from the many visitors of different age groups that come and go. She just needs to be watched around very small children, as she hasn’t had a lot of interaction with them yet.
Miss Pixie is a very independent soul who doesn’t like loud noises at all. She is an indoor only cat and has lived a very protected life since coming into care.
She will keep you entertained for hours; if she spots anything on a string she will chasing it. She loves to explore her surrounding and will come to you in her time, especially when she's tired, then will sleep almost anywhere.
She enjoys laying in your arms and loves it when you talk to her. What a little purr machine she is.
Miss Pixie would be suitable in most situations, however l believe she would benefit from having her playmate with her as she has never been left on her own for very long since coming into care.
Given the chance, l think Miss Pixie would fit right in and complete your family home.
