About Buddy & George ~Chi X &Poodle X (on trial 18/3/18)
Neck snuggles and a warm lap coming your way when you meet this pair of bonded joy! George is a 9 year old white poodle and Buddy is a 4 year old tricolour Chihuahua with a smooth coat. The boys need to stay together forever. George especially relies on Buddy to feel safe.
During the day George and Buddy have shown off their excellent chasing skills with squeaky toys and also like to dabble in a bit of soft toy tug of war. Yes! George can keep up with his best mate Buddy. At bedtime they like to sleep where you are sleeping as this helps them feel loved and safe.
When they are not playing the 2 boys like to laze around in the house. They are both toilet trained and are slowly beginning to stop marking territory as they make themselves more at home. George feels safest when he has human company even though he has Buddy by his side all the time. They are a quiet pair and want to be cuddled up on your lap with you, although they will stay at your feet if you ask them to.
The boys are very well mannered as they sit when asked. They love a walk, especially George who will wiggle his bum and verbalise his excitement. They adore the sights and smells during their journeys.
George and Buddy are in foster care in Maryland, NSW (Lake Macquarie) and are available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet the boys, please contact Jaime by email jaihol@bigpond.com or via text message on 0410 491 882, with a name and contact details.
George and Buddy’s adoption fee is $750 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
