About Kai
Are you looking for a big, sociable, and active new friend?
Kai is a young Kelpie x Bull Arab. He is an affectionate and goofy boy who wants nothing more than a good cuddle and a game of fetch.
Kai has been raised around kids, dogs, sheep and loves when visitors come over.
His socialisation is terrific, however being young, work on leash, his recall and performing commands in a 'real life' setting are still things he needs to work on.
He is crate trained, toilet trained and travels excellently in the car.
Kai loves bush walks, water, doggy play-dates and going on bike rides/runs with his carers, and we would love for his new owner to take him for similar actives and outings.
Kai LOVES other dogs. He currently lives with 7 other dogs and has proven to be very respectful of the older dogs, while loving a good wrestle and run around with the younger ones. Kai would love a desexed, balanced and equally playful adult dog in his new home, to learn from and keep him company when left alone.
Ensuring this boy gets enough daily physical and mental stimulation will be essential in preventing boredom and the development of destructive behaviours.
Kai previously lived with chickens, however this was not a suitable housing arrangement. He will need to go to a home with no small animals.
Since coming back into care, Kai has matured tremendously. He is still young and playful, and we are eager to find him the perfect companion who will take him on adventures and continue his training.
If you think that you may be the one Kai has been looking for, we would love for you to send us a message and tell us why!
Kai is located in Ballarat.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
