Meet Mate, an 18 month old male Kelpie, with fantastic ears to match his great personality. Mate has only arrived at his foster home recently but has already proved he is full of love and affection.

Mate gets along well with other dogs and enjoys spending his days playing with his two furry foster siblings in the backyard. He is toilet trained and spends the night inside on his bed. Although he is more than happy to sneak up and sleep on the bed with you ;)

He loves to chase water from the hose which provides many laughs when trying to water the garden. He does show interest in chasing balls although he's not sure on bringing them back just yet.

Mate has great walking skills when he is on a Head Halti, when on a collar and lead he will need a bit more work to learn not to pull. This intelligent boy already knows how to sit and stay, and is eager to learn new commands.

Mate is well behaved inside the house and loves nothing more than to be beside his family.
With some ongoing training Mate has the potential to be a fantastic dog and his foster parents can happily say he will bring a lot of love and joy to his new family.​

Mate is best in a home with teenage children, as he isn't used to younger kids and finds them a bit scary!
