Juju

Juju is a gorgeous little dog. At 15 kilos she is not very big, but copes with the big dogs and is lovely to the little dogs and puppies as well. While she gets on well with the other dogs and enjoys a play, she is really very focused on her human and would love to have one all of her own to attach to. She would be a faithful little shadow and cuddle mate to someone who would love and care for her. Her favourite place for a nap in the evening is on the back of the couch, with her head just next to my shoulder, where pats can be maximised. Juju loves her walks and especially being allowed to be off lead as she loves exploring. She doesn't go too far and comes back nicely to a whistle. You don't need to worry about her getting lost or running away, as she is very attentive to her human and would be mortified if she misplaced me! She walks on the lead as well, and we usually practice that on the way home.

Juju was confiscated from her previous owner with her little mate by the police in Tennant Creek, as she was in a particularly unpleasant abusive situation. Luckily with her sunny nature she has quickly recovered and is really making the most of her new found security, comfort and love. Her little mate Boo has already found his forever home, and now it is Juju's turn.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Juju's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Juju is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
