Alfie

Hi! I am Alfie, but you can call me the cutest fluffy butt-butt head the world has ever seen (or so my Foster Mum calls me).

My favourite thing in the entire world (after treats) is nuzzling up to my humans for a hug. No matter where they are, if they are close by I will make sure I am next to them...even if they go to the bathroom I am happy to hang outside the door and wait quietly until they have finished. That way, my beaming, smiley face will be there waiting for them when they open the door.
I am still in a puppy stage and do like a good chew here and there. I am toilet trained but will need some time adjusting to a new setting.
I would definitely benefit from some training but I will not need it for long as I learn things very quickly, like sitting for instance. My foster Dad taught me to sit in about half an hour! I have also just learnt to play fetch where I am fast but a little uncoordinated, and very funny to watch.
I learn the best from positive reinforcement and by other doggy role models- so I think I would be great in a home with another dog or dogs that do not mind having me about to love them too. I am used to walking in an off-lead dog park where I have made like, a million friends. If I were to live in a home with no other furry mates about, I would at least need my humans to be home a lot so they could tell me they love me in half hourly intervals.
I have not lived with kids so cannot tell you how I am with them, but I am a very gentle kid myself. Just no hair pulling please.
If only the best humans could apply for me please.
