About Rosie

Dog Friendly: Yes
Child Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Toilet Trained: Yes
Location: Regency Downs, QLD
Rosie or Rose is an extremely well behaved girl. She loves nothing more then to be near her humans at any chance. Her paw is always ready to shake hands or to just rest on your lap.
Rosie relies on physical affection from her people so if you are wanting an independent dog that likes her own space, Rose is not the girl for you. She will stand up and hug you, wrapping her paws around you, it's one of her favourite things.
While she is good with other dogs she would love a home where she was the centre of attention and therefore we think she would be happiest being the only dog in the home. If she did go to a home with another dog she would need a submissive male or female friend as she likes to be the boss. She does enjoy a play with other dogs from time to time and loves her puppy foster sister Sydney.
Rosie has lovely manners and will sit and wait patiently for her dinner. She does get anxious when the other dogs get too close to her food as she is still on the thin side, so she will need to be fed separately saying that, she is fine with humans near her food of course.
Rosie's special love is children, she has previously lived with two little humans under 3 years old and is now residing with a 9 year old, she would sure make a perfect companion for a young family with small kids.

Adoption details
Adoption Process for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
