Hi ya! I’m Wilfred. But you can call me Willy. I’m a lovely, good natured purebred heeler. I’m great with children. And I can sit, drop and roll :)))) I’m a wee bit timid when I first meet people or other dogs because I lived with a bossy dog, who picked on me :( Thank goodness I don’t have to put up with her anymore. I’m looking forward to a new home - maybe with a nice, friendly dog to play with, maybe with children. Not sure about cats - I haven’t really met any. But I’d suit quite a few types of homes, so long as I can be involved in my Loved Ones’ lives and get exercise at least once a day, I’ll be super happy. Oh, and some behaviour training each day too - heelers were bred to be active and to work.

Up until now, I’ve been an outside only dog, but I would so love to have inside time, too. I may need help to learn how to behave inside since it will be new to me. But being a heeler (and smart, of course) I’m a quick study!

A few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like me if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Flights to Perth for dogs are capped at $150 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
