About Ripley
Meet Ripley! Ripley is a medium-energy 9 week old Kelpie x Bull Arab pup with a gorgeous coloured coat. She is a mostly quiet girl who, at this age, likes a good sleep. When she’s awake, she is adventurous, loving and tends to win all the wrestling matches with her brothers. Ripley will grow to be medium sized dog.
Ripley was separated from her mum at only 6 weeks old, however through being able to stay with 3 of her siblings, 4 older puppies and 3 adult dogs, she has certainly learnt those valuable social skills pups would otherwise learn from their mum.
Different people and children of various ages are also handling her, which is essential for her development and confidence building, and will be essential to continue in her new home so she can grow to be a well-socialised adult.
Ripley will require an active owner willing to exercise her adequately, start her obedience and ensure she experiences as many different things as possible while she’s still young. Her new home will need at least one desexed, balanced and equally active adult dog to learn from and keep her company when left alone. She is a very intelligent girl and a real thinker, so ensuring she gets enough mental stimulation as she grows will be essential in preventing boredom and the development of destructive behaviours.
Ripley may benefit from going to regular obedience classes to help socialise her with both people and dogs in a controlled and safe environment, while also strengthening the bond between pup and owner, helping her to become a happy, confident and obedient adult dog.
Ripley has been with sheep and likes to bark and try to get them to move, of which they will not do, so she’s given up and walked away, defeated, quite a few times.
Kelpies are a beautiful, loving breed, and Ripley is no different. If you would like to learn more about this loving and smart pup, we would love to hear from you!
Ripley is located in Ballarat.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
