About Terry ~ Jack Russell Terrier X (on trial 19/12/17)
Hi my name is Terry! I am a small 5 kilo Jack Russell cross. I have been In foster care for some time now and I am now a happy little boy. I am living with three small dogs and get along well with all of them. I would suit being an only dog or a second member of your doggie family.
I also get along well with children, I have been exposed to children from 6 months old to 12 years old during foster care, I have been well behaved and friendly towards them.
I am house trained and will let you know when I need to go outside. I. am happy to have a bath I will just sit in the bath whilst being washed. My coat requires a brush everyday, and a bath as required.
I walk well on a lead but need a harness rather than a collar to be lead by.
I am an inside dog and must be allowed access inside the house at all times. I will take myself outside when I need to. I am ok to be left alone during the day.
I am currently sleeping on the bed with my foster mum and dad, I will also sleep in the lounge room on my bed but my preference is to sleep on the bed if I can. I am a well behaved dog and I like soft toys and balls.
I would love to be your little dog, I will fit in with your family very quickly. If you looking for a small dog who loves affection, I am your dog.
For more information or to meet Terry, please contact his foster carer Robyn on robynstarkey30@gmail.com or 0409 124 886. Terry is in foster care in Fennell Bay, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Terry’s adoption fee is $200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
