About Jax
Jax is a gorgeous Border Collie who just wants to be around you and wants to love you and of course he wants to be loved. Jax LOVES his kong toys and loves a tennis ball. Really he loves anything that you throw to him. He will bring the toy, ball or stick back to you with a smile on his face. Jax isn’t a fan thunderstorms, so whenever we have had a thunder storm, we have either put him his crate whilst at work for a short time, or if we are home he comes inside with us and he is fine. Jax can sense when bad weather is coming. Jax loves his food and he will eat all day if he could, he also loves treats, he knows to sit and to go to his bed. Jax sleeps inside and doesn’t make a sound. He is house trained. He follows you everywhere in the house and will just sit at your feet. He loves playing with other dogs when he doesn’t have someone to throw his beloved ball. Jax is a sociable dog and loves to have a play and have a friend around when his humans aren’t home. Jax, on occasion has barked at our neighbours sheep, when he does this we tell him stop and he generally always stops. Jax loves a tummy rub and just loves a cuddle. He LOVES going for a swim, especially after a hot day, he’ll just want to keep swimming and swimming, he likes getting hosed down when it’s a hot day, as he has very long hair. Jax hates the lawn mower, he tries to bite the wheels, he doesn’t like the chain saw, he doesn’t really like any loud sound.
He loves to have a roll around on the floor when he is in a playful mood.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
