About Xena ~ Cocker Spaniel (on trial 24/12/17)
Xena is an absolutely gorgeous, 8 year old, purebred Cocker Spaniel. She has the loveliest, softest coat and will be the best cuddle buddy you could ever ask for.
Xena is absolutely addicted to affection. She loves to be with her humans at all times, from snuggling up on your lap on the lounge, to snoozing peacefully at the end of your bed. She does also enjoy a good long walk every day and has plenty of energy when in a playful mood. She is a confident adventurer at the beach and parks and is friendly with other dogs. Xena is a very happy, healthy dog and will no doubt have many wonderful years ahead with her new family.
Xena would be best as an only dog as she loves to have her humans all to herself. She tends to bond strongly with her main carer. Her ideal home would be with someone who spends most of their time at home, perhaps a retiree who would love a wonderful companion at their side at all times.
For more information or to meet Xena, please contact Sue on 0419 634 957 or suemasens65@hotmail.com. Xena is in foster care in Belmont South, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Xena’s adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
