About Ash
Ash is a loving dog who needs a home where she can be an integral family member. Ash is in care at Windsor.
She is nine years old and is a female German Shepherd x Border Collie.
Ash Is in excellent health and is Obedience trained, desexed microchipped, perfect record around children and currently in care with six other dogs. Ash has been well trained and used to strict rules.
She is fully house trained and does not need a lot of attention or exercise - but would welcome a loving family with dog savvy children having grown up around children.
She was living in a very small yard, and was taken to a park every afternoon for a run around. She is trained to walk on a lead but is equally happy with a gentle daily walk as long there is some playtime with a ball once a day.
Ash comes with bedding, food, flea tablets, leads and all other equipment.
So if you are interested in giving her a new home, please call either 0423 659 155 or 0497 398 062.
Medical notes
Ash is fully vaccinated, microchipped and desexed, she has been flea treated and wormed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
