Rocky

Have you always wanted a beautiful Border Collie but you weren't sure about matching their energy level? If so, Rocky is the dog for you.

Rocky has a medical condition which means that he needs limited exercise and plenty of access to lay around in air-conditioning during the hot weather. Ideally he'd like a human companion to be with him for most of the day and he would be a perfect 'Home Office' dog or would be happy to sit and watch TV with you.

Due to the fact that he can't have too much exercise we would prefer him to be the only dog in the house. He is social with other dogs and would probably enjoy it if you have a relative that sometimes comes over with their social dog.

He LOVES playing ball and we usually ask him to spend time finding his ball (he uses his nose to find where we've hidden it) for a few minutes before throwing it once.

He's takes time to warm up to new people and can be quite timid until he gets to know you. Once you are his friend you will be his friend forever. We have all fallen in love with him here at the shelter and know that his perfect family will love him too.
