About Pip MD0013
Hi there! I’m Pip, the adorable Min Pin! I’m looking for a Loved One (or more) for companionship, outings and lots of fun doing training together. Let’s go to the river where I can bark at the waves. Or go for drives in the car. And I’d love to sit next to you on the couch at night and come and sit on your lap when I’m in the mood for a cuddle. We’ll have a strong bond :) I’m a smart, well trained doggy and quick on the uptake. I can sit, make eye contact and have good recall. I walk well on a lead and I know how to be calm before I get to do anything. And I’m crate trained, too - if you’re new to that, you’re going to love it - but maybe not as much as I do because it’s my own special place ;)
I’ve learned not to bark at cars or people passing the house. My next two challenges are to learn controlled barking - you know, when the command “speak” is given, I’ll bark? And then to go to the park with other dogs and not bark - because I get so excited by the opportunity to play with other dogs that it comes with a lot of barking. So it will be important for my training to continue so I can be the best dog I can be :) As well as learning how to be a great dog, obedience training certainly wears out my brain. It’s hard work concentrating. But it’s so much fun. I would love to do agility training with you. It might help to keep my weight down - as you can see, I REALLY love my food - and anyone else’s that happens to be at my level ;)
Having small children visit isn’t a problem for me but I definitely don’t want to live with them. I live with a toddler at the moment, but he really drives me crazy as he just won’t leave me alone. It makes me nervous. So if you have mini visitors, all you need to do is keep an eye on us and put me in another room if you can’t supervise us. Older kids would be OK and I’ve lived with a cat and all sorts of other animals too, including chooks.
I have a bit of a skin condition. It’s currently managed by a low dose daily medication. The next step is to try a special controlled diet and see if a food intolerance is the cause. If that’s the case, then I can get off the medication. And because of my very short hair, I would like to have some spiffy coats for the cold weather. Maybe we could match he he!
Do you have the time to put into my training? Yes? Click on the link below and complete an application :) I can’t wait to meet you. I’m going to make you so proud!
