About Josie
Do you have a dog at home that has been begging you for a little sister? If so, Josie is your girl!
When Josie was first picked up by her foster carer she was a little nervous but still happy to enjoy pats with a nice new human. As soon as she met her foster siblings - 2 big labradors - she really came out of her shell and let her personality shine. It's for this reason that Josie is best suited to a home with another dog who can show her the ropes and make her feel confident.
Josie loves to play and follow you around to check out what you're up to. She's also very happy to nap and entertain herself so is a good dog for full-time workers. She is in foster care with 3 cats and while she is interested in them, she's also happy to leave them be. She is not in foster care with any children, however she would be well suited to an older child - she may be too much energy and excitement for a toddler!
Because Josie is still a puppy, she would definitely benefit from doggy school. She's very clever, listens intently and wants to please her humans. She is already toilet trained and is very well behaved in the car.
If you think that Josie could be a great little sister for your dog then give the shelter a call and organise a meet and greet!
