About Jess ~ Staffy (on trial 19/12/2017)
Meet Jess, an 18 month old Staffy girl! She is a wonderful dog who is very affectionate and loves to be in your company. Jess loves nothing more than to give you a cuddle and show you how much she loves you.
Jess loves to have a nap near you, while you’re relaxing on the lounge she will just curl up on the floor next to you. In saying that, she is also more than content just being outside and having an afternoon snooze under the warm sun.
Jess is great with other dogs and loves to play with them (currently living with a 3 year old Jack Russell). She also wouldn’t mind being an only pet she can get all the attention and affection. Jess loves a cuddle and is quick to roll onto her back, so you can rub her tummy.
Jess is fantastic with kids (currently living with a 5 and 7 year old), although sometimes when she comes looking for a scratch she forgets how solid she when she nudges the kids.
Jess loves short walks, but she would much rather be relaxing in the sun while you go on that long walk. She tends to bark only during play but other than that she tends to be as quiet as a mouse. She currently sleeps on her bed in the laundry, but has slept outside and would be more than eager to sleep on the floor next to someone’s bed (or on the bed) at night. Jess would suit being an inside and outside dog. She loves to be inside and be apart of the family but is also happy to be outside.
Jess has a beautiful nature and would love you as much as you will love her.
For more information or to meet Jess, please contact Luke on 0402 516 446 or lclewett@hotmail.com. Jess is in foster care in Valentine, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Jess' adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
