My name is Woodley. You’ll have to forgive me, I’m a little bit shy at first with new people, but if you’re nice and patient with me I won’t take long to relax. I’m still little on the inside, you see, even though I look big I’m just nearly one year old so I get scared sometimes if someone shouts or raises their hands near me. I might want to hide behind you and seek reassurance from you but I bounce back very quickly. if you’re one of my ever growing group of people I trust I will bounce around and play and snuggle up for cuddles you won’t even remember that I was shy once!

I like to sleep in a crate but I’m also happy with a spot on the floor so I can be near my person, I do love a good nap after a run at the park. I love to play with other dogs and they don’t scare me at all. I saw some cats too, I think they’re pretty boring, their food seemed pretty interesting but they didn’t want to share...

I’ve had a great big needle, the nice vet said it was to protect me from diseases, and I went for a nap and came home with a weird cone around my head and had to eat a yucky pill to stop worms so they said I don’t need any more vet trips, thank goodness!
Now I just need to find a nice safe place and a person I can call my own and I’ll be the happiest puppy in town
