About Milly
Milly is a beautiful seven year old purebred German Shepherd whose family have made the hard decision to find her a new home. As you can see she loves going to the beach. Milly is currently at Sutherland in Victoria and will need a caring owner who will ensure she is a much loved family member.
Milly needs to be the centre of attention so a home as the only dog is recommended. She is alert, active and would need firm boundaries so she knows her place.
Milly has been a family dog and is house trained and voice responsive. She loves water and will empty a sand clam in minutes splashing and dive into a pool, d
Or the surf without hesitation.
Milly will need an experienced German Shepherd owner who will ensure she has plenty of daily walks and a daily routine. Typical to this breed she is protective and loyal to her human pack. Being a large breed dog we recommend a home with dog savvy older children.
If you think you can give Milly a new home please contact Linda on 0497 398 062.
Medical notes
Milly is fully vaccinated, microchipped and desexed, she has been flea treated and wormed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
