About Tortie Puss
Mama cat Tortie Puss has been a wonderful mum in raising her beautiful kittens. Her kittens have all been adopted into wonderful homes, now it’s Tortie Puss’s turn to look for her forever home.
Here is Tortie Puss’s story: I used to live outside near a very busy road. It was scary so I spent a lot of time in people's yards. One house I liked to visit started to leave me food and water. I liked it there and moved into their retaining wall garden. I had gotten a little too friendly with the boys in the hood and ended up pregnant. My foster parent heard the babies meowing one day and after a few stressful attempts, they finally rescued me and my kittens.
At first I hated being inside. My people were patient though and after a few weeks I started to warm up to them. My kittens all got adopted and I was very sad. I missed them a lot. My foster mum sat with me, brushed my fur, and told me I was a good kitty. When I was feeling better I started exploring my house. It turns out I love having a home and people of my very own!
I get very excited for meal time and rub on my foster parent's legs and meow and purr loudly. I like to spend my days sleeping in the sun and watching birds. I sometimes go crazy running around the house.
I'm a shy kitty at first but once I'm comfortable you'll see how much of a great big teddy bear I am. I like cheek scratches and tummy rubs and will purr loudly. I love when my foster parents brush my fur.
I'm about 3 years old and healthy. I live with 4 other cats currently. I would likely be ok to live by myself or maybe with another friendly kitty
