Duke

Duke came to us after being found dumped in the bush he was starved had so many wounds and scars and yet his tail wagged like mad he still just loved us humans.
He has gained lots of weight his wounds are healing so well and it is time for him to find a home.
Duke is here with dogs of all ages and sizes has not once gone crook at the pups in care as they jump on him and chew his scarred ears but he has got cranky with another big male dog that asserted his authority as soon as I called him he stopped and ran over for a pat.
There are cats here he is curious but as they dont run he is ok.
In saying all of this I think the perfect home for this boy would be someone who would like to give this bloke all the attention or the company of a female dog. We have dry food available to share all the time he is fine but meat and chicken necks he is not keen to share and this maybe the way he is.
I believe this bloke will be an amazing companion his recall is great fantastic on the lead but sitting well he is working on that.
A patient kind companion is what Duke needs.
