About Custer
** Expression of Interest **
We are looking for people who would be interested in adopting Custer. Custer was one of 3 dogs surrendered to us by his owner as unwanted. When he arrived, he was in light body condition and had demodex mites. He was extremely timid and would squash himself in the far corner of the pen, bark and urinate on himself.
Three weeks later - with vet treatment and some love, Custer has transformed!! He is an active young dog who loves playing with a ball. He takes great delight in jumping up and giving his carers hugs and kisses. Every day is a new adventure for Custer and this is one dog that is now taking everything in his stride. He is learning to walk on a lead and he even learned how to sit on command!
Custer still has some follow up treatment to go before he can go to his new home, but we have been told by the vet that he is not contagious and will not transmit anything to either humans or animals.
Custer deserves the right home - a family that will teach him, play with him, exercise with him and love him. Are you the right person?
All adoptions include a vet consultation, desexing, vaccination, microchipping, NSW lifetime registration, flea and worm treatment.
Please call Gilgandra Shire Council on (02) 6817 8800 during business hours to discuss adoption. We can help you organise any transport - or maybe come and visit central-west NSW - it's a beautiful spot in Australia.

Medical notes
